Simple Product Review!!

A review on the Simple Moisturizing Facial Wash, Smoothing Facial Scrub and the Replenishing Rich Moisturizer!

This line is probably the only drugstore line that works well for my skin. I have sensitive, oily/combination skin that also tends to get flaky and dry if I use the wrong products, especially in the winter. I really wanted to find a drugstore alternative to my Dermalogica products that would be cheaper and more easily accessible. The whole Simple line is made specifically for sensitive skin and is free of harsh dyes, chemicals, and skin irritants.

I have been using the Simple Moisturizing Facial Wash and the Replenishing Rich Moisturizer for about a week. My skin is not having any weird side effects that I have come to associate with drugstore facial products. It is left feeling cleansed, soft and hydrated. One thing I really like besides the moisture in the facial wash is that it is FANTASTIC at removing makeup. You still should use eye makeup remover and I still wash my face twice unless I am using the scrub, but you don't need to worry if you got all of your makeup off.

The moisturizer feels thick and luxurious without being heavy or making my skin oily. It is rich in moisture while still allowing your skin to breathe under it. This one does not have spf but Simple does make a light moisturizer with spf 15 which I plan to switch to once it starts getting hot outside. I always have spf in my foundation so I don't worry too much about it. One thing I am not overly fond of is that if you get this near your eyes it feels like it clogs the tear duct area. It doesn't burn or sting but it can be a bit annoying. I would avoid the eye area entirely and use an eye cream.

I have not been using the scrub for that long but I can say that it is not very abrasive and my skin feels even softer after using it. Never use a scrub around the eye area!
